Anyone who commits to life-long care of one of our puppies is a perfect candidate for a Australian Cobberdog. Australian Cobberdogs are excellent companion dogs and have a very cheerful personality that matches up with anyone. Nonetheless, the Australian Cobberdog breed was developed to be hypoallergenic with optimum qualities to do the work of a therapy dog or assistance dog. For this reason, DOGKING gives priority to all requests to acquire this breed from people or families where the dog will be able to carry out the function for which it was bred. In other words, families with a member who has special needs and/or allergies, and professionals that train the Australian Cobberdog to be a therapy or assistance dog have preference when it comes to acquiring one of our Australian Cobberdog puppies.AT WHAT AGE ARE
THE PUPPIES GIVEN?
The Australian Cobberdog puppies are given from our centre after the age of 9 weeks, or 14 weeks if they have to be sent to their new home by plane. We do not deliver our puppies before they turn 9 weeks of age, because they are not weaned until then. Weaning is the period when the puppies begin to abandon their diet based only on the mother's milk, which provides all the necessary antibodies for a healthy immune system and begin to try solid food. This starts at 5-6 weeks and should be a progressive change in diet until the puppy is 9 weeks old, and can leave its litter and begin to live with its family. For puppies who must travel by plane, they must have all of their vaccinations so they can be accepted on the flight, which means that they need to be at least 14 weeks old.WHAT DO OUR AUSTRALIAN COBBERDOG PUPPIES INCLUDE?

Whenever a family acquires a Australian Cobberdog from our centre, we provide them with complete advice so that they know everything about how to take care of their puppy and have all the information on what it means to look after a dog.
ADVICE ON CARING FOR THE PUPPY
We provide exhaustive explanations to the family about the care required by a Australian Cobberdog puppy, as well as all the material prepare at home for its arrival. Any questions about the food, hygiene, training, rest, and play required by the family's puppy are answered.
VETERINARIAN ADVICE
The Australian Cobberdog should visit the clinic for its last check-up before it goes to its new home. The vet will check that all is in order, and also explain everything related to the puppy's veterinarian needs to the family. This visit is also important because the vet will warn them of symptoms to be on the lookout for, and when they should go to the vet if any problems arise.
CANINE GROOMING ADVICE
The canine groomer is responsible for explaining all about the care the Australian Cobberdog will need for its coat and skin to the family. The family will be told which brushes and products are most suitable for each type of skin, and how the dog should be handled when brushed or bathed.
