    The Australian Cobberdog has a super soft coat, which is easy to keep long and well-groomed, is hypoallergenic and comes in different colours (reds, creams, blacks, white).
  2. CHARACTER:
    The Australian Cobberdog is a dog that naturally trusts people, does not bark for no reason and has a calm temperament. They are super affectionate dogs which are very sensitive to the feelings of their favourite humans. However, they are also super fun to be around and are very playful.
  3. ENERGY:
    The Australian Cobberdog was designed to be an ideal therapy and assistance dog, with a calm nature. They are respectful towards people but also enjoy their alone time.

 The Australian Cobberdog is a great family dog although the breed was originally developed to have the optimum characteristics to perform well as a therapy and assistance dog. It is a dog with the ideal energy to provide assistance and is very intelligent, so it will always know what to do. The breed is hypoallergenic and comes in 3 different sizes. The dogs are also very sensitive around children and the elderly.

The Australian Cobberdog has a wavy coat which has a soft and silky texture; our fingers should be able to glide through their fur with ease. The breed is hypoallergenic, meaning not produce allergens Their coats do not moult, nor do they shed or produce dander, so the home is free from dirt and allergens.

The Australian Cobberdog  comes in 3 sizes (miniature / medium / standard) and they are generally of a slim build.

They are very sensitive and empathetic towards the emotions of their humans, but they are also very open to strangers.They are also fun dogs which are eager to play and participate in any family activity.

The Australian Cobberdog is an ideal dog for people without any dog experience. What the Cobberdog wants most of all is acceptance of their family, meaning that they will try to quickly learn the tricks to getting their family's attention. They are very sensitive dogs which are instantly aware of any wrongdoings they may have done, and will try to avoid this behaviour as to not upset their humans.
Living with family
Australian Cobberdogs love to be with their family. The thing these dogs treasure the most is having their family make plans with them and just simply being around them. They like spending time with children and will easily become best friends with any child that they encounter, since they prize themselves on making their humans laugh. These dogs tend to act like puppies by rolling over and asking to be petted on their belly. They generally get along well with other dogs and pets of other species, gladly befriending anyone.s.
Barking
The Australian Cobberdog is definitely not a guard dog, as they tend to befriend anyone and everyone. They do not tend to bark nor use their bark to signal that someone is coming into the home. These dogs express themselves best by wagging their tail.

The Australian Cobberdog was designed to be the ideal therapy and assistance dog.. Due to its hypoallergenic nature, even people with allergies can benefit from this therapy dog, since it does not shed allergens into the environment. It is a dog that continually looks you in the eye and has a gentle, cautious and respectful attitude. These dogs are very friendly in appearance given their resemblance to cuddly toys.
